Sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. When driven by this desire, men develop keenness of imagination, courage, will-power, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times.” — Think and Grow Rich

I absolutely believe the vast majority of people want loving relationships, healthy powerful bodies, and careers that support them abundantly doing something they’d do for free. While not 100% true, I’m willing to bet on that model. Then when coaching, it’s a matter of finding the obstructions, the tangled values, rotten beliefs, and negative emotional anchors and concepts that stopped them. Remove the obstacles and let the water flow to the sea.

That’s my position, and if you believe people are telling you the truth when they say they don’t care about these things…good luck. Did you also believe it when Michael Jackson said he hadn’t had plastic surgery? When Nixon said he wasn’t a crook?

People lie, especially to protect themselves from pain and disappointment. There are plenty of people who will believe you when you say you don’t care about these things. I think that in 95% of cases, people who say that are lying to you, and to themselves. The sad thing is that they actually could have these things, if they could correct the damage they (probably) got prior to puberty and adulthood. Joy is within their capacity. The ability to spend their lives doing the thing they love is possible. I would say it is our birthright.
