Today, Jason earned his 10th certificate, which earns his computer upgrade. Next, we’ll work on designing a path to earning his new VR setup, an expensive rig that he’s drooling to get.

Because of his excitement and the fact that we’ve been consistently in placing his desires on the far side of his obligations, he asked his MOM to hurry to our meeting. Worked on the Turkish “Get-Downs” (a variation where you switch hands at the top position rather than the bottom, so that you are keeping your body under continuous tension for the entire time). But wanted to do his affirmations during his Tibetans. And because he’s a young athlete, I gave him permission to skip from 3 to 10 reps of each.

I then went back over the steps off the Morning ritual: the M.A.G.I.C. formula. He’s already invested in the “All I need is within me now” pattern, but that’s technically the LAST letter of the formula: C for Confidence. Now I had him work on the rest.

M is for Model. Who is a person who has the skills he covets? Lebron James! So that becomes “I’m so grateful for Lebron James” right?

A is for Action. Fact is that just doing the ritual is a critical positive action. He’s doing it! This allows you to give the finger to the doubting voices in your head. If they tell you this is nonsense…that’s like a voice in your head saying you have no food, right in the middle off a sushi feast. IT’S A LIAR. Good to know!

G is for Gratitude. I had him start with “I’m so grateful for a strong healthy body…
