Accept The Challenge
Questions of the day:
- What EMOTION would have to dominate your life for the next week to take the actions that would change your life?
- What small action could you take which, if you took it consistently for the next 10, 100, or 1000 days would utterly change your life?
The third step of the Hero’s Journey is the Hero Accepts the Challenge. The Challenge is a problem or opportunity. The “rejection of the challenge” is due to a lack of perception that taking action will bring more pleasure than pain. So “accepting the challenge” means that either so much PAIN has become attached to NOT acting, or so much PLEASURE has been connected to the potential of success, that you overcome your emotional inertia.
Its all about beliefs. Values. Emotions. Energy. You have to be able to SEE and FEEL that taking dynamic, courageous, consistent positive actions will change your destiny, help you be the HERO your family needs and that you deserve to be.
There are three things you need to control emotions: positive physiology, positive focus, positive language.
So for LIFEWRITERS, you need the “Five Minute Miracle”, stopping to BREATHE with power and purpose at least five times a day.
Next, you need to build the MORNING RITUAL into your life: 10–20 minutes of total focus, physical motion, and dynamic affirmation, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. “Every Day In Every Way I’m Getting Better And Better” is a perfect example. If you do this, the negative…
