I love experimenting and tinkering with my own wiring. Trying new things. Laying in bed, starting to wake up. The question that ran through my mind: “What is the greatest joy I’m looking forward to today? What is the greatest service I can provide?”

Greatest Joy? Maybe playing VR minigolf with the family. Hey, Walkabout has a new course open as of last Thursday: Atlantis. Has sharks. Nicki’s gonna love it!

Greatest Service? Recording Tananarive’s segment for ADHD TO A’S. I’ll interview her, and tomorrow she’ll interview me. She will give her thoughts and impressions on the whole process. I don’t expect it to be organized. But it will be whip-smart and deep. We’ve put thousands of hours into thinking about this over the years. I’ll trust her to boil things down to a usable form.

Tomorrow, she will turn around and interview me. So…after she records hers, I’ll look at what she did, and figure out what’s needed now. I’ll use the Hero’s Journey and the Chakras as basic structure, and then go sideways when needed.

We’ll relate everything to the Morning Ritual. That’s the key:

  1. Each parent individually
  2. The parents together
  3. The family meeting
  4. The child’s ritual (done with a parent at first, but solo asap)

The best metaphor I can come up with is that you look into yourself, and find the analogies for any quality you wish to inspire, or develop, within your child…
