Tomorrow on FIREDANCE I will speak more on what I learned in Manila, how I gained clarity on all I needed from the martial arts over the last half-century, and how it feels to complete a major cycle of that journey. And the journey of the artist. And the journey of the husband and father and brother.
Completing a cycle isn’t the end. It’s a spiral, and if you are conscious, you arrives at a higher level of the same game, and can see more clearly. And one of the things you see is that you have finite time to play this game on this level…your compassion for others increases, but your tolerance for the games their egos use to slow them down and stop progress diminishes considerably.
