How To Keep Fear From Becoming Helplessness

BREATHE!

Do you have something in your life that you need to change? Some behavior on YOUR part? Remember that YOUR behavior and internal states are the only thing you can affect? Here are possibilities in some common major arenas:

  1. Relationships. Heartbeat Meditation or daily loving connection/communication with your sweetie.
  2. Finance. Save 10% of income. Study sales and marketing for an hour a day.
  3. Career. Write a sentence a day
  4. Body. Daily Five Tibetans. Daily MA practice. Intermittent Fasting

Invariably, the people who don’t get the results, don’t stay on track, simply don’t have enough reasons to do it. Want to VASTLY increase your motivation to do something?

INCREASE THE PAIN OF NOT DOING IT, AND THE PLEASURE OF DOING IT. Simply sit down and WRITE OUT a list of ten HORRIBLE things that will happen if you continue with the same bad habits. The WRITE OUT a list of ten WONDERFUL things that will happen if you make the change.

If you let yourself really FEEL the negatives and positives, you will automatically begin to shift to the positive behavior. In fact, merely re-connecting with the pain and pleasure will interrupt your old pattern and start shifting you in the right direction. Want to change faster?
