I suggest not arguing with them, but you can post a link to research supporting your point of view. Those who are genuinely inquisitive will learn. The rest are arguing backwards from a premise: “whites would have recovered from slavery faster, and HERE’S the proof!”

That is the dictionary definition of racism, and you might want to post a link to that as well. Don’t accuse them, try to convince them…don’t get involved emotionally. JUST POINT IT OUT.

Onlookers then get to make their own decisions on who is True, and Useful, and Kind. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Don’t try to change people unless they honestly request your help. An existential perspective on essence/existence is not a moral failing. They can be “infected” with racism, but be “asymptomatic” of bigotry.

But while not all A are B, all B are indeed A. Racial bigots ALWAYS believe in unequal capacity (for all practical purposes. There may be some exceptions I’ve not considered or encountered).
