It is possible I have enough leverage on Jason to actually get him to begin to practice a full-out Morning Ritual. This is a massive breakthrough if that leverage (he wants a fancy VR rig for Christmas) proves real. Fingers crossed.

Eric Cline asked: How long does your morning ritual last? And would you tailor one for him much different from what you do for yourself?
I replied: Mine lasts 10–15 minutes, the length of the Wu Style Tai Chi form. I would think everyone would craft their own, stemming from the basic framework. I’ll write about that.

So this might be an excellent time to back up and clarify. Repetition, after all, is the mother of skill.
The Five Minute Miracle came out of my work with Scott Sonnon and Pavel Tsatsouline (his writing. Never met the man). Basically, 60 seconds of “Be Breathed” once every three hours. Diaphragmatic breathing is perfectly fine if you aren’t familiar with the “Be Breathed” technique.
Once you have that anchored in, you can and should move to the “Morning Ritual” which ties together all basic aspects of the Warrior’s Journey, and is the current evolution of Lifewriting.
