The last three month have been stunning in terms of Jason’s development. I wanted to look at the overall pattern that has, at this moment, gotten him off his meds, current with homework, in control of his anger, talking about his future, exercising voluntarily, and more.

I cannot express the gratitude I feel for my life at this moment. We have entered the Belly of the Beast — the Hollywood experience is in full sway. This is the potential for career Nirvana. Simultaneously, I’m preparing for the week-long FMA workshop in Manila in 2022, my body working well: laying plans to up that whole level. And Jason is accelerating at 1% per day and better. When he starts reading and writing for fun, I think I’ll faint.

He has accepted the structure of the basic elements of the Warrior’s Journey:

M.A.G.I.C. Ritual

Lifewriting

The roots aren’t deep, but they are there. If I had to choose one of them, I’d say the M.A.G.I.C. Ritual. Why? Because the other aspects are CONCEPTUAL. Head games. Only the Ritual actually engages with the flesh, and therefore has the potential to really create a balanced human being. All the others depend upon finding behaviors that will do this…
