Stop Waiting To Exhale
“Money is like oxygen. If you don’t exhale, you’re not breathing.” — Marci Geller
I was thinking about the Yin and Yang of success in any field. We can see the direct actions, but not the indirect. It is harder to perceive the negative space, but yet it is just as powerful and important.
There’s a lot to be explored there, but the thing that struck me this morning relates to Scott Sonnon’s “Be Breathed” program, where the essential factor is: EXHALE.
Then relax. If you exhale fully, you create a partial vacuum, and air pressure will fill your lungs. The universe will “breathe you.”
This was hugely eye opening when it comes to movement arts: all you have to do is see what kind of internal strictures you need to produce with external actions to CREATE the exhalation, and you have stepped into another, deeper and higher world. But I’ll leave that alone for the time being.
Work hard in the gym, nourish yourself, and then REST…and your body grows.
Focus on the work you can control (a sentence a day, the Soulmate Process) and nurture yourself (read 10X, meditate and play) and the universe will bring the “invisible” portion (success, the Beloved) into your grasp.
DO WHAT YOU CAN DO, AND LEAVE THE REST TO THE WORKING OF THE WORLD.
As you don’t have to consciously inhale if you exhale and then relax properly, you don’t have to worry about “achieving” or “succeeding” if your daily actions are in…
