“What I wish we could do is figure out what it is that makes the 5% or 1% successful at the things most other people fail at and see if there’s a way to teach that. “—Warren Lapine

And…IMO that is precisely what the human race has done since forever. Heck, we know that crows and monkeys and dolphins teach their children successful behaviors. It is so common that it might seem too obvious. Think about the things you’ve learned in the past, that 80%+ manage to master:

How to walk

How to talk

How to ride a bicycle

How to read, write, and “reckon.”

These are things we all learn. There was a point where we couldn’t do it, we studied those who could, did what they did and taught, and learned. But because these things are common, we don’t consider what we went through, and don’t apply that to other things.

The broader arenas where there are differences between average and optimal results: What percentage of people do this? Well…I’d say about 80% of people do a couple these, broadly, but about 20% are notable for having several of them at happy levels:

How to keep your body healthy

How to make a living

How to form a relationship

How to save money.

How to finish the projects you begin.
