There are a couple of things that slammed together in my mind this morning.

  1. The Hawaiian Huna notion that the body is like a “black bag” where we hold unprocessed emotions.
  2. “Anger is a mask over fear.” That at the root of all anger is fear, for yourself or someone with whom you feel empathy
  3. That the two questions that are most important in life are “who am I?” and “what is true?”
  4. That to the degree that you know who you are, and what is true, you will never set a goal you cannot reach, because you understand both what the outside world requires to reach your goal, and whether you have what it takes to to it, or learn to do it, in the time-frame required.

A long time ago, I figured out a core aspect of human relationships that had eluded me. In the most basic terms, one important aspect of it was “a lioness wants a lion.” That you had to BE the equivalent of what you wanted. And how do you know when you are? When you stochastically attract members of that tribe.
