If you didn’t see this coming, didn’t grasp that language and focus drive emotion, which drives behavior, we have very different views of human behavior experience. Very. To me, it is as direct as any other aspect of my philosophy. Say that I’m being political about it, and you are simply wrong. I would warn of the same thing within a family structure, a job, any organization or group, or the way we speak to ourselves.

Is it True? Is it Useful? Is it Kind? So long as your words align with these, your soul is relatively safe. Now, that doesn’t mean that our views will align. But if you really believe that your words align with truth, utility, and empathy, and they are really that different from mine, then I know without needing to look further that we have a different core sense of the flow and meaning of human life.

You don’t need to have mine. But we cannot be family. Neighbors, perhaps, and hopefully. And if you are on my page because you like the results I’ve produced in my life and the way I speak of that path, know that you are walking a different path, and will either take a very different road to those results, or be unable to attain them. I am not the teacher for you. With all my heart, I hope you find someone who is.
