Where are you? Where do you WANT to be? What are you willing to do to get there

Most of us are like light bulbs. We radiate our energy in all directions, and provide value to the world thereby. Education makes us more like magnifying glasses, able to focus that light (and heat!) onto a point of attention until we master it. Done properly, this is an enormous and positive difference.

But a lucky few of us find the teachers or learning opportunities that put our physical energy, mental focus, and emotional power all moving in the same direction. This is more like a laser, and THAT can pump a hole through a diamond. HUGE difference.

Survival is for worms. Humans need more.

I finally had the presence of mind to start talking to professionals and teachers: therapists, martial arts instructors, hypnotists and gurus, friends and relations. Looking for perspective, because I was in a box. The one advantage I had was knowing I’d been “stuck” before. Remember the Hero’s Journey? I was in the Dark…
