TURNING ON YOUR “LUCK ENGINE”
You can find “research” to prove almost anything you want. My tendency is to create small-scale experiments where I can test a hypothesis for myself, without risking more than a few hours or days. If it works there, I scale it up. If it works on the level of weeks, I double down.
But the real origin is the single day. Here are some samples:
- Can I really manage stress with the 5MM?
- If I make sure to get at least a “1” in each stage of M.A.G.I.C. can I measure the difference?
- If I use the Three Gates as a standard of behavior, does it improve my relationships TODAY?
- If I do joint mobility in the morning and night, does that actually feel better?
- If I perform the Blessing Dance with Tananarive, do we interact more smoothly during the day?
- If I use Emotional Flooding, does it really affect my mood all day?
- If I write “a sentence a day” can I really trust that to USUALLY lead to even more time, sufficient to creates a story a month?
- If I just practice a few Tai Chi moves 5X a day in my “Pomodoro” breaks, can I feel an increase in energy? Do I shut down better for sleep?
And so on. If you define the minimums IN ALL THREE AREAS, and use your FIREDANCE ritual to reinforce them. Notice if focusing on a single day’s minimums tends to expand those into maximums and optimums. Take a step back and ask: if I did this every day for a year, would…
