Two Months Before Graduation, and Taking Stock…

TWO MONTHS TO GRADUATION. MORNING THOUGHTS

I know my own smallest unit of progress in each major arena, and strive to do THAT every day, without fail.

1) Writing — A sentence a day

2) Fitness — Tai Chi with morning ritual

3) Relationship — The Blessing Dance

4) Finances — quick bank balance check

5) Family (Jason) — Daily meeting

As Jason heads toward graduation, we are strengthening his sense of “oh, THAT’S how people earn money!” by paying him for every day he gets all his work done, reports to his meeting on time, and follows the Three Gates. Three violations gets him “fired.” Ten good days in a row and he gets a raise.

After graduation, he’ll get a month off, and then we’ll start up with helping him create an on-line career. He still says he wants to be a counselor. This will require:

1) A specific body of knowledge for helping people change and heal. He will want to select some aspect of his own life, something that he has succeeded at. An 18 year old can coach a 17 year old who hasn’t covered his territory. While yes, I’d like him to go to University and study psychology, IT IS NOT NECESSARY IMO. What is necessary is that he be a healthy human being who can help others to health. I believe I’ve identified a body of knowledge that will facilitate this better and…
