M.A.G.I.C. is the acronym for the minimum investment to move forward in life, such that ANY TIME I talk to someone who is

  1. They will NOT have a clear model of the path to success. In other words, they are “pushing” on doors marked “pull”
  2. They are not taking constant actions. Distraction and emotional junk, is stopping them.
  3. They are not in control of their emotions. They allow anger, fear, and other emotional static to steal their joy.
  4. They do not have crystal clear, written goals. They cannot visualize the end point of accomplishment: the published book, the beach-ready body, the bank balance, etc.
  5. They do not really believe their efforts will be rewarded. They lack faith and confidence.

So far, I honestly think I’ve not met an unsuccessful person who didn’t have a problem in one of these. And so far, I’m pretty sure I’ve never met a person who succeeded in much of anything who had a “zero” in any of these categories.

Now what is really interesting about M.A.G.I.C. is that it has the unnerving ability to increase LUCK. Yeah, it’s the real “Law of Attraction” which IMO makes the grotesque error of deluding people into thinking that all they have to do is “want” something badly enough, and it will come to them. They are fooled by looking at highly successful people who seem to just “want” something and it happens. Poof!
