Weaving The Threads Together

BREATHE!

Pausing for sixty seconds gives you a chance to relax…and think. Consider. Ponder.

For instance: One thing that happens when you hold yourself to the Three Gates is that you’ll notice how hard it is, and how easy to fall away from that standard. But you also notice, much more quickly, how often people say things that are untrue, unkind, and useless. Sometimes useful politically (“how can we win?”) but not philosophically (“What is true?).

Wow. Is that a loop? Have to think about that.

You’ll also notice the slithery tactics people use to manipulate conversations. And so long as you are committed to honesty, utility, and kindness you have the right to demand them in return.

What if you DEMANDED this standard from yourself, and resisted being pulled into conversations or relationships without such standards?

Now…what if you applied those three to the Three Centers: Body, Heart, and Mind? Physicality, Relationships (internal and external) and Career/Education?

I rather suspect there is a lifetime of work, just looking at this. The Three Gates, and the Three Centers. They are the destination, a map of what an awake, aware, adult human being would be, were obstructions removed.

The Hero’s Journey is the SYNTAX of your journey to this state, and can be applied to every tiny bit of that process, in endless micro and macro cycles, weaving in and out.
