What if you had KNOWN you were loved?
What are the beliefs that are stopping you from being, doing, and having what you want? YOUR beliefs, not those of the outside world. The world is just sitting there. How you react to it determines your results.
A core precious belief is that you are lovable, loving, and worthy of love. If you have this, you have an amazing resource. If you don’t, you will struggle with guilt, fear, depression and other painful emotions. If you can’t love yourself, how can you look at life as being a beautiful whirl of experience and opportunity?
The greatest pains I see in life spring from fear and lack of self-love. Guilt, depression and other pains. But if you love yourself, and have a 100% sense that you would fight to the death to protect your heart and sacred honor, you are as free as a human being can be. From that point you are free to seek joy. Otherwise, consider an abused and abandoned child, whose parents do not cherish and protect her. Think about the misbehavior, the tantrums and rages, the withdrawal and acting out.
Now think about your own emotions and actions, and how they might have been different if you had KNOWN you were loved, and that you could trust yourself to protect yourself to the absolute limit of your ability, society be damned. Loving parents protect their children without compromise. “Show me a woman protecting her child. I’ll show you self defense.”
