Clarity is POWER. The clearer your goals, and your understanding of the steps you have to reach them, the easier it is for your mind to devise answers. If you are taking “Five Minute Miracle” breathing breaks, use them to remember your core goals in body, career, relationships, and emotions. Remember what step you need to take TODAY to move in that direction. If you feel love connected to the goal, GREAT! Let it pull you.
Feel fear? GREAT! Let it open the door to your REAL fear: death, failure, lack of connection, stagnation.
Put your fear behind you, your love in front of you and run like hell!

The beautiful thing about “A Sentence A Day” is that it is “atomic” — it really is the minimum you need to move your writing career forward.
- It removes excuses. NO ONE READING THESE WORDS fails to have, on average, time and energy to write a sentence a day. Stop lying to yourself!
- If the goal is to write 1–4 short stories a month, are there short stories comprised of no more than 30 sentences? YES. That would give you your minimum sustained forward speed. You WILL take off if you continue accelerating, by constantly reading and researching, submitting your stories, and studying the editorial response.
